Ya antes del tiempo

Nosotros fuimos aquellos

Que se cautivaron a sus maneras

Nada nos parecía tan imposible

Éramos dueños del mundo y sus espacios

Y aun en lontananza

Nuestras presencias se justificaban.

Nos hemos conmemorado

Nos hemos colmado

Nos hemos subyugado

Dentro y fuera,

Aun sin percibirlo

En nuestro impropio salvajismo

Respiramos nuestras sustancias,

La esencia de cada misterio

Nos hemos gozado pero también

Nos hemos roto,

Y es que somos tan humanos

Somos apenas en el horizonte

Un punto de luz en infinito vuelo.

Already before time

We were those

That they were captivated in their ways

Nothing seemed so impossible

We owned the world and its spaces

And even in the distance

Our presences were justified.

We have commemorated

We have filled ourselves

We have subjugated

In and out,

Even without perceiving it

In our improper savagery

We breathe our substances,

The essence of each mystery

We have enjoyed ourselves but also

We have broken,

And we are so human

We are just on the horizon

A point of light in infinite flight.
